How many times do we need to hear that the negative dialogue inside our head is getting in the way of our success? No matter how many times, it’s still NOT ENOUGH.
Just think about it. You keep telling to yourself that you’re not good enough, you’re not smart enough, slim enough, rich enough, and the list goes on and on.
This way you’re focusing on the concept of “not enough”. Life is a nice servant, it serves you what you’re asking for, what’s on your mind. So, what you get is not enough again and again.
The next time that Negative Nancy (AKA your inner dialogue) is trying to throw a pity party inside your head, just stop. Stop and say thank you for what you ALREADY have. I’m sure you have plenty of things in life to be thankful for.
On a more scientific note, multiple studies have shown that people who find things they’re grateful for on a daily basis have a stronger immune system and are less likely to suffer from depression and negative feelings.
Tell that Negative Nancy to get out of your head! You’re stronger than you think.
